INTRODUCTION
Wndmifit is a windows tool that will allow an HP Authorized servicepartner to program the Serial Number and Model number on certain HP, EliteBook, ProBook branded notebooks. Pleasenote that the tool is not supported in DOS.

How to Use:
1. ObtainWinPE bootable media (or windows XP, Vista, 7, 8).
2. Download the zip file to a directory on your hard drive.
3. From that drive and directory, unzip the downloaded file to get the file wndmifit.exe,BiosConfigUtility.exe, and oledlg.dll.
4. Copy the above files to the bootable media obtained in step 1.
5. Power on or restart the computer to boot the affected notebook on thebootable media above.
6. Run wndmifit.exe and fill in all information to program the serial, modelnumbers and others.
