我装的也是***_OS_x86_10.4.11_Install_Disc_rev2但是装 office 2008 学生版没有任何问题 而且我是在中文环境下装的你试一试修复下磁盘权限和修理磁盘

I recommend u to use iWok 08 other than the office 2008,I think iWork08 is much better than office and there would be no problems when u open .ppt .xls .doc,and u can export ur file to .ppt .xls .doc
