mac os在Vmware中VMTools的安装问题
在VMWare中成功安装了MAC os X10.4.8，但在X终端下安装vmware tools的时候提示安装不成功，根据VMtools安装教程（VMware自带的）的提示，说是要在text mode下安装，我理解为在开机时进入命令行模式安装，问题就在这里，怎么在开机时进入命令行模式，网上google了好久了，都是说的在MAC机器中或者在PC机器中开机进入命令行模式的情况，从没提到在VMware下怎么进入，我也一一试验过了，都不行的，实在没辙了，高手们，你们知道怎么解决吗？ 这是VMtools部分安装向导：Install VMware Tools in a FreeBSD Guest
Before you begin, make sure the virtual machine is powered on and the guest operating system is running.
To install VMware Tools in a FreeBSD guest
1On the host, choose VM > Install VMware Tools.
If an earlier version of VMware Tools is installed, the menu item is Update VMware Tools.
2Make sure the guest operating system is running in text mode.
You cannot install VMware Tools while X is running.
3On the guest, log in as root (su).
4If necessary, mount the VMware Tools virtual CD-ROM image by entering a command similar to the following:
mount /cdrom
Some FreeBSD distributions automatically mount CD-ROMs. If your distribution uses automounting, skip this step.
5Change to a working directory by entering a command such as the following:
cd /tmp
6Untar the VMware Tools tar file:
tar zxpf /cdrom/vmware-freebsd-tools.tar.gz
7If necessary, unmount the VMware Tools virtual CD-ROM image by entering a command similar to the following:
umount /cdrom
If your distribution uses automounting, skip this step.
8Run the VMware Tools installer:
cd vmware-tools-distrib
./vmware-install.pl
9Log out of the root account:
exit
10(Optional) Start your graphical environment.
11In an X terminal, to start the VMware User process, enter the following command:
vmware-user
12(Optional) To start the VMware Tools control panel, enter the following command:
vmware-toolbox & 在楼主的指导下，终于在VM5.5中安装成功
